YHA Nelson by Accents is a comfortable and popular 5-star hostel in the heart of sunny Nelson. Close to iconic cafes, restaurants and the famous Saturday market,YHA Nelson by Accents is also a convenient backpacker base to access the local National Parks including Abel Tasman, Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes.

The common areas have foosball, table tennis, an extensive Free DVD collection and internet access. The hostel is suitable for groups, with two well-equipped kitchens allowing a dedicated kitchen when large groups come to stay. Disabled Guests are catered for with bedrooms, bathrooms and all Common areas on the Ground Floor.
Nelson is the arts and crafts capital of New Zealand and the renowned Nelson market is located next-door to the hostel. It runs on Saturdays and is the perfect place to pick up a unique memento or some great local produce.
We are located close to three supermarkets, dozens of pubs and cafes and just 1 minute from the Intercity bus station, which is perfect if you are arriving on the Late Bus. For free travel and activity advice on your Nelson and New Zealand stay just ask the helpful hostel staff.

YHA Nelson is always where I like to stay when in Nelson the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Just a shame the ratings scale only reaches 5 as I would happily give yha Nelson triple that. Keep up the great work. I very much look forward to my next stay with your establishment
