Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:I thought i would try my first b and b experience along with my gf who lives abroad and had just arrived. Arrived to the treehouse at 130 straight for airport. Property is on the market ..open home was happening owner asked us to come back after 3. Lovely place and nice room/bed but not as pictured, no tv, robes, slippers and a bit cool but lovely and comfy. Was asked to leave early in the morning as there was a home showing. No ideal when u just arrived from abroad. Looked around then took a nap.. Woke up with bands on the door and ph raining and doorbell.. Owner had gone out and left us there 2 more sets of guests arrived at diff times we had to show them around and get them sorted in between trying to sleep.. There was no tv lounge...got up at 930 but missed breakfast as owner was cleaning and preparing for open home... Nice place, nice people.. But clearly not focused inthe customer experience or business..sad really and wasnt the best b&b experience..... Sorry just truthful.

We enjoyed our two night stay at the tree house recently. The house is furnished to a high standard and guests well looked after. It would be very difficult to find anywhere else of this standard at this price.

A classic, attractive, clean, tidy, & well appointed home, situated in a lovely garden & convenient area... Our master suite was wonderfully spacious with a very comfortable antique 4 poster king sized bed plus arm chairs to relax in... Very generous breakfast provisions, with fresh ground plunger coffee or a large assortment of teas etc readily available, made it a simple meal to prepare & an enjoyable start to each day in the attractive kitchen and relaxing dining room... We really found it easy dealing with our hospitable host ken & mina was, despite her hearing difficulties, very engaging & also a delight to deal with!! our wonderful trip to christchurch was made even better by having a place like the tree house to base ourselves in & we plan to return if we have need of accommodation again in christchurch... With generous breakfast provisions, free internet & laundry facilities, as well as the moderate price, this b&b ticks all the boxes & we highly recommend it!.

Fawlty towers but without the comedy!ken is a lovely guy but unfortunately not at all very organised! on arrival there was nobody home luckily another guest gave us his mobile number,on ringing him he told us he was in town and would be about half an hour and told us about a cafe about 200 meters down the road, when we got to the cafe it was closed so about turned and given directions to a pub about a km down the road when in the pub we rang ken again who said he would be another hour.when we finally got back to the treehouse the rooms were not made up. The rooms are very nice and the beds are extremely comfortable, but this did not excuse ken for putting my parents in the wrong room only for him to move them into another one the following day and then for the bathroom to go out of order puts the whole experience similar to fawlty towers but with no comedy . Like i said you are a great guy kenneth but if you are in business you need to be more organised! thanks for the refund dave.
