A 19th Century villa encapsulated and extended in a 21st century building.
There is a separate guest wing comprising of a single room and 2 x double rooms.

The guest wing has a bathroom and 2 toilets, also there is access to the office for computer work and a tea room for guests to use should they wish.

Mainston house is run by artists and guests may wish to interact with them. The main villa which is accessible until 10 p.m at night offers other experiences, it has a wonderful library which may be enjoyed, also a formal lounge and family room looking out onto the gardens

The gardens offer many outside private entertainment areas which guests may use dotted around the peaceful grounds where fruit and vegetables are happily grown just waiting to be picked.

If breakfast is required it is supplied at $15.00 per person and if enough notice is given you may choose what you would like and we usually meet requests.
