Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:very classical wilderness lodge experience with old world charm
we were the only guests that evening, and we had searched out a special unique stay made all the better by getting a free room upgrade. Our host Jamie was very accommodating knocking up a supurb meal served with warm hospitality. surrounding scenery very serene and reflective

Superb service & fantastic location
This wonderful lodge is a well-kept secret. The host (manager) is welcoming & very friendly & the room is well-appointed & comfortable. There are many amenities to be enjoyed ( including a library, pool table and comfortable lounge area) and from each of theses areas the views of the lake are sublime. To top it all off the beds are heavenly. *F*I*V*E* STARS

Absolutely outstanding
The perfect get-away, quiet, beautifull, - somewhat hidden and away from main roads, but really worth driving an extra mile for - wish we could have stayed for a long time.

Old world charm with all the mod cons
Wonderful building with lots of history but well appointed rooms & the best wifi we had on the trip. Delightful lodge managers. Great food with lake views. An amazing area with nearby fishing and hikes.
