*ACCOMMODATION* Restored in keeping with its gracious style and era, Sennen House offers a unique and authentic accommodation experience. Our three options, all on the first floor of the property, offer elegant, spacious accommodation with private entrance, dining and seating area, kitchen facilities, luxury linens, character, charm and private entrance. Delicious continental provisions are delivered daily for you to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the time of your choice either alfresco on the sunny balcony or in the privacy of your own suite.
*LOCATION* Set in formal gardens beneath our native bush clad hillside, Sennen House has abundant birdlife and lovely views accross garden, hills and Picton. Although peacefully tucked away we are less than 1km to restaurants & shops and to the beautiful foreshore where boats leave for the Queen Charlotte Track, dolphin watching and cruises. Wine tours depart from the bottom of the drive by arrangement. Sennen House is ideally located to explore the stunning and diverse Marlborough region with its wealth of activites, wineries, waterways, beautiful coastline, magnificent landscapes and famous Queen Charlotte Track.
*HERITAGE* Built in 1886 and registered under the New Zealand Historic Places Trust, this magnificent 2-storey villa is one of Picton's original colonial homesteads with a wealth of historic features.
*ENVIRONMENT* Set in 5 acres of Queen Elizabeth II National Trust protected native forest and grounds, native birds and birdsong abound. A percentage of each guest stay is put into the ongoing work of regenerating the original beech forest with its unique and rich habitat.
*RELAX* with a glass of local Marlborough wine on the sunny, north-facing balcony before taking a gentle stroll to one of Picton's many restaurants. In the morning there's no rush to be up, dressed and ready for breakfast at a set time. Our unique approach allows you to slip gently into the morning or to be up with the larks. The choice is yours. Your delicious breakfast hamper is waiting in your suite for you to enjoy exactly when you wish.

*HOSTS* Lyall and Helena relocated back to New Zealand at the end of 1999. Originally from New Zealand, Lyall spent a considerable period of time in the UK working extensively within the building services environment where he met Helena. Lyall and Helena are both happy to leave the corporate working environment behind them and enjoy the delights of what Marlborough can offer including cruising around the glorious Marlborough Sounds in their classic launch ?Arohanui'.
