Hazeldene is a restored 1930's homestead set on 4 acres of quiet Wairarapa countryside.
The rooms and hallway of Hazeldene are filled with photos and items that all reflect stories of the property and families that have lived here.
Just 5 minutes from the centre of Masterton, Hazeldene has two large bedrooms suitable for families or two couples and includes a private lounge. Guests are welcome to use the big country kitchen to prepare hot or cold beverages and the laundry is available for us too.
Relax in the large spa bath, take a walk around the gardens, org=chard or in the paddocks with the small flock of sheep. the swimming pool and grass court add a bit more fun!
Your morning continental or cooked breakfast will be served and then you could take in the nearby Pointon Heritage Car Museum where every vehicle has a Wairarapa story to tell.
Located on the New Zealand Cycle Trail, Route 52 touring route and close to the Classic New Zealand Cycle Trail and on the road to Castlepoint, there's plenty to do! we'd be happy to help with ideas for activities, directions and possibly a train or airport transfer.

Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:I had a very enjoyable stay at hazeldene. My hosts, lorraine and phill, couldn't have been nicer, friendlier people. Inside, the room and facilities were modern, clean and comfortable. Outside was a big deck with a rural outlook to relax on. I can certainly recommend hazeldene as a place to stay. .
