Jane and Bob were great hosts. Jane provided us with home made muesli Greek yoghurt and stewed fruit from their trees, along with bread and condiments for toast. We had no need to buy anything for breakfast. The view form the bed in the morning out to the cut, watching the ships go in and out was superb. Old world charm in the house, and wonderful hosts.

Exceptional hospitality and comfort.
As seasoned travellers, we would have to rate our experience at Walmer Apartment as " the best ever". The attention to detail by the exceptional hosts, Janet and Bob , is unsurpassed. An absolutely flawless stay in an outstanding historical house!

Very nice victorian style house, very quiet, very well located. The owner are so kind ! And so helpful to give us ideas of very interesting visits, adapted to our aim. Sure we'll come back, and tell to our friends.

High quality accommodation with very attentive hosts
Walmer is a fantastic base to explore Nelson and surrounds. The accommodation lacks for nothing and is superbly situated overlooking the harbour. Hosts Bob and Janet were very helpful and obliging.
