What a great welcome we recieved on our arrival, late on a wet cold night and to sit in the cosy bar with a drink in front of a log burner to warm ourselves up before our meal. The meal was superb too full for dessert. We treated ourselves to the executive suite and it was magnificent, the sad part was we were only there for one night as we had to leave early the next day too early to have breakfast. We will be back when we do our catlins/ stewart is trip we now know the best place to stay in invercargill. Thankyou very much. Pat and doug good .

After a very long drive through snowy mountain passes it was a pleasure to arrive at this well cared for hotel. Unique in the city as a restored gem i was treated as a special guest. The staff was attentive and accommodating always making sure i was comfortable and well cared for.

Fantastic old Hotel, rooms more than comfortable and very well appointed, and great hosts. What more could you look for? We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Victoria Railway Hotel to all.

Fabulous as always. Beautiful place, well appointed rooms & lovely people. Only place to stay in Innvercargill as far as I am concerned. Will happily stay there again & would/have recommended to others as well.
