A nice clean place and awesome views of the tauranga harbour , a little disappointed our room was not ready when we arrived at 3pm needed to wait 20 minutes , but a nice place to stay and friendly staff .

I had three nights in this hotel and found it one of the best hotel experiences i have had. The room was lovely with a view of the water and trees, staff very helpful and friendly, food delicious. My room was available early so i could drop my bag and go off for the day. The room was quiet, large, good bathroom. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were well prepared and tasty and the dining staff were great. A convenient position close enough to walk to town or get the bus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice friendly staff, attentive but unobtrusive. Nice room and good breakfast. But!! was stunned that they charged my credit card $8.50 for a little pkt of plunger coffee of which we may have used a couple of tea spoons worth. It sat on the same bench as the "complimentary: tea and coffee. No indication that this was not complimentary. I'd bet many guests get sucked in with this little stunt. Shame! counter productive.!!.

Value for money at the special rate. Will not pay full price. Beautiful view. High tea and breakfast recommended. Rooms was ready and we checked in half and hour earlier. .

Enjoyed our stay in our waterview room, this puts the hotel apart and sets a relaxing scene. Gutting to receive a call on our return home from the hotel to be told of there "no smoking in the hotel" policy. When i said we certainly did not smoke in the hotel or our room we were told that all decks and balconies were included in the policy and they could charge a $200 fee. The hotel kindly did not charge us in this instant but i feel a policy this strong needs to be made known upon check in, and "no smoking" signs on the balconies would help. We would of been happy to oblige. Thank you for a nice night anyway and the staff were great.
