We are conveniently located on State Highway one 25-30 minutes drive south of Taupo, we are right in the middle of all the great things to do. Also the perfect halfway stop, between Auckland and Wellington.
You will have about a 45 minute drive to Whakapapa Ski field. The Tauranga-Taupo River is within walking distance, the Tongariro River is a 10min drive.
We have 4 lovely rooms to choose from: a queen-size bed in one, a King bed room and two dorm rooms each sleeping upto 4 people, the dorm rooms can be booked as a room or by the bed. All our rooms have hand basins, wardrobes, heaters, electric blankets, radio alarm clocks and luggage racks. You have the choice of a cot(crib) or rocking cradle for babies and a fold-out bed for older children should you want them to share your room. We have fish cleaning and ski gear drying facilities available on request as well.
The guest lounge has a wide selection of books and magazines with satellite TV. We also have an outside deck area with a BBQ for you to grill your dinner and have a few drinks. Babysitting can be arranged if parents want some time alone together.
We like to make sure everyone who stays feels welcomed and comfortable. We are happy to cater to your special requirements if we are able; just let us know in advance.
We do offer a great home cooked meal for a very reasonable price. Just let us know and we will whip one up for you.

Wonderful home away from home. Tony and tania are great hosts, and we enjoyed a fantastic meal with them and their family. The bed was very comfortable and we had a solid night's sleep. We'll be back! .

For one who has done many travels in his 88 years, I can honestly say that your hospitality is of the top class. Where else can one find that mine hostess and host could be such friendly folk.
