Great value, great location comfortable accommodation spa pool good just needs a bit of tlc to spruce it up a bit more. Will stay again when next in taupo. .

This stay has lots of potential, and could be really great; but needs lots and lots of work yet. Not really worth the room price, probably more like a $70 room at the moment as it is in need of considerable maintenance including real basics like light bulbs!.

Fair overall. Room was not aired before we arrived but was clean and tidy. Comfortable bed in peaceful surroundings. Had to put the cat out twice in the night. Tv did not go properly which was very frustrating - person was not avaliable to sort out the problem. The spa has great potential to be beautiful, with money, time, effort and a few necessary items of convenience such as towel rails and hooks etc. Enjoyed the walk to the river with the thermal stream beside it. (it is neither thumbs up or down but is there is no option for average we have given them thumbs up).

This place is rustic lots of character the man at the pub was lovely gave us milk. A beautiful gray cat come to visit nice mineral pool room was bit limited but for $89 bucks this place was well worth the price would stay again if you after something fancy this is the wrong place if you want character and bit history and aren't scared of a few spiders webs compared to a backpackers cabin without its on toilet this place is luxury for its price!!!!!!.
