David and Lorriane were wonderful hosts and went the extra mile (literally!) to make our stay great. Lorriane was very kind to drop us off at the wedding we attended and the brekkie the next morning was very yummy. Have already recommended to friends and family. Great place to stay.

We had a fantastic stay. David even went the extra mile and picked us up after we managed to break two wheels on our car, he then checked us in and drove us to the wedding we were attending. The place is cosy, clean and friendly. Thanks heaps.

David and Lorraine are excellent hosts, unobtrusive but with excellent advice, and they cook an excellent breakfast using fresh, local produce. The Connection is also very easy to reach from Wellington by train and transfer bus (it drops you outside the door). Is also a good base to cycle the vinyards from.

The most awesome breakfasts!! Very helpful and attentive hosts.Really enjoyed our stay there and would do so again happily. David has a larger collection of rugby books than most librarys:)
