PET POLICY
We also are happy to have short haired dogs with their own bed in any of our accommodation types apart from the dorm rooms for obvious reasons. Long haired and larger dogs will be judged on an individual basis.

We enjoyed our stay in the tree house. Although we had no hot water, which was pain in the morning for showers.we ended up having to visit another unit to use their facilities.

We stayed in a tree lodge. The room was nicely appointed and the bush setting is lovely. However for $220 a night we expected more tranquility. The walls are horribly thin, such that snoaring from the opposite unit kept us up. Even just normal conversation passes through the walls. Not our idea of a peaceful stay, we will not be returning.

Disappointing for the price.our room was pleasant but both nights we had noisy neighbours who kept us awake.rainforest retreat conjures up peace and quietness for me but everyday a bus load of backpackers would turn up and at 2.00 am we were woken up with sceaming and yelling.on our last night the fire siren went off just after we had hopped into bed-the worrying thing was there didn`t seem to be any procedures in place - the bar manager had to turn it off as the office was closed.

Exceeded my expectations in so many ways
The Rainforest Retreat is aptly named. It is a beautiful setting. The staff are great. The restaurant was good. Even though my room wasn't very large, it was one of the best rooms I've had. By far my favourite place I've stayed so far in New Zealand.
