Room nice, bathroom very small though. Bed comfortable and staff helpful.

We had a fabulous stay at the Punakaiki Resort. The view is amazing. The only comment I would make was that directions were not very clear about where it actually was, especially if you're arriving in the dark as we did. Punakaiki is very spread out and can be a bit confusing if you haven't been there before.

Much better than we were expecting!
A really nice hotel. We only stayed a night and because there is nothing much else around the hotel, we decided to eat in Greymouth on the way there: mistake, at least based on the breakfast that we did eat in the hotel. There is obviously only the Pancake rocks to see in the area, but it was an unmissable part of our holiday!

Had a great time. Would especially like to thank the head girl in the restaurant as she went the extra step to cater for my dairy intolerance. Some maintenance needed doing in the bathroom- sealant around the basin and bathroom door handle. First shower I have ever had that was too powerful, floods the room.
