We stayed in the manhattan room. It was well furnished, a comfy bed and great views. The central location in martinborough is great. Just wished we could have stayed longer.

It was ok. To my way of thinking when one pays top dollar one has a right to expect the details to be attended to. The light over the bar wasn't working nor was the tv. There wasn't any "normal" tea, only herbal infusions and green tea and the dusting wasn't as good as could have been. My advice to the proprietors - if you're not going to have any on-site supervision get yourself a competent housekeeper.......

We stayed in the Devon Room for our anniversary, and found the room lovely, clean and very well-appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable with quality linen and fabulous pillows and we slept well. The small fridge was perfect for our requirements and extras like bottled water appreciated. The only downsides were some noise from the square late at night but only a couple of times and the shower curtain which did not enclose the bath well enough so water ended up everywhere (thankfully the bathroom is well tiled and plenty of towels were provided!).
