Rustic, comfortable, kiwi "bach"-style accommodation, set in a bush-clad section. Each of our four bungalows has its own individual character and its own private space - and only a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Bored with bland chain hotel rooms?

We are a family owned and run business, offering self-contained, self-catering accommodation in your own little slice of Waiheke.

A perfect space to relax and wind down, 5 minutes walk from one of the best beaches on the island.

The "Driftwood" bungalow is a compact but beautiful bungalow which looks out into the canopy of native bush. It has a generous deck for sitting outside, and gets all-day sunshine both inside and out.

The Driftwood Bungalow comes with a Double Bed and ensuite, and has a galley kitchen and a digital TV. Freeview is not yet available in this bungalow but there is a connection for both Apple TV and Google TV, so bring either of those devices and stream to your heart?s content?if you can drag yourself from the beach or the deck.

The "Treetops" bungalow is an original 1947 kiwi beach "bach". Compact but bright, comfortable and functional, with windows set among the trees and offering leafy views through the bush.

The "Mudbrick" bungalow is a two-storey cottage, with space to relax, cook and eat downstairs and cosy bedroom and ensuite upstairs. Mudbrick also features an outdoor patio/dining area.

The "Boatshed" bungalow is the largest of the four we have on site. The bungalow offers a large bedroom/lounge with leafy outlook through the large windows and spaces to sit and relax or enjoy a meal. This bungalow also features a large hydrotherapy spa bath.

During your stay, bookings can also be made for access to the Bali Garden, a private area tucked away in the native bush. There is an outdoor French double bath, and a complementary pack of fragrant Koha Spa Bath Salts. Soak in the bath with a glass of wine, gaze at the stars, watch the flames in the handmade fire bowl (wood/firelighters supplied).

Waiheke Island itself is a must for anyone visiting Auckland. Beautiful beaches, clear water, vineyards, restaurants, art studios and galleries and much more to explore.

PAYMENT TERMS: 50% at time of booking and the balance will be taken from your credit card 10 days prior to arrival. However, if your booking is for dates within the next 10 days full payment will be taken at the time of booking.

Quirky hideaway in shady suburban bush. Big comfortable bed, tasteful furnishings and a writing table!! - some very thoughtful provisions e.g big bag of ice in the fridge, proper coffee and bug repellent (not really needed!) . No sea view but short walk to beautiful beach. Nice people, highly recommended.
