Newly built, lovely self-contained two bedroom cottage set on our 10 acre lifestyle block with mountain views. Only 5km from Oxford township. Fully furnished to a high standard, spacious open plan living area. The cottage is lovely & warm with high levels of insulation well above the building code!

The main bedroom has a queen sized bed & the second bedroom has a double bunk-bed (double bottom, single top) & single bed. A double futon may be placed in the lounge area behind the sofa on request. The cottage is ideally suitable for up to six guests but can sleep up to eight for short periods.
The cottage is self catering. The modern kitchen is complete with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine & tub, clothes dryer, gas hot water, log burner, toaster, sandwich toaster, kettle - all you need for a relaxing break!
There is a flat screen tv, dvd player & cd player/radio.
There is Wi-Fi but we're not on an unlimited data plan so no movie downloads please. Usual usage (emails etc) is fine.

When booking for up to two adults (sharing) the second bedroom may be locked. The check out time may be extended if there is no booking that day.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet & vanity. The cottage is 30m from the main dwelling. Relax & unwind, feed the chickens, watch the cattle, explore the forest & enjoy our little piece of paradise that is New Zealand!

Just a short drive to Oxford township. Activities close by - try out NZ's only Dressage Simulator/Mechanical Horse only 5 minutes away! Enjoy a walk up Mount Oxford, Kayak on the Waimakariri River, have breakfast at Under the Oaks & dinner at the award winning Cafe 51. Route 72 in Cust is well worth a visit & have great specials for Friday night dining.

The Famous Sheffield Pie Shop has now opened their Main Street Bakery & Cafe in Oxford. Why not try out their award winning pies! We now have a newly built Fresh Choice supermarket here in Oxford for all your supplies. There are plenty places to enjoy a relaxing coffee in Oxford - Main Street Bakery & Cafe, Pink Sugar, Under the Oaks, Cafe 51, Village Foods Bakery, Takeaway & Cafe.
Don't forget to check out the farmers Market & Village Market on Sunday mornings & the Art Gallery is also worth a visit. Have some retail therapy at Emma's at Oxford which offers a wide range of books & gifts. There's also Mamalade Clothing & Curiosities, Cottage Crafts & Village Green Antiques.
