Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:Was disappointed with our stay at the new orleans. After reading all the positive reviews on here im really not sure what went wrong. We basically arrived at midday to say we wouldnt be able to check in until the evening due to a function and was told that they needed a good 4 hours to clean anyways so not to bother before 7pm. Arrived to officially check in, and they instantly demanded payment. I said sorry but this was charged to my visa through travelbug. They refused to believe me as they had no record of it. I had to hunt through my emails on my phone in the middle of the pub bar on a saturday night with my suitcase trying to prove payment had been made. Finally sorted with proof of email and not one apology. Went to the rooms and discovered that one of our rooms had not been cleaned. Dirty sheets and towels laying around the room. Told staff and they said to go away and come back in an hour as apparently they needed that long to clean 1 room. Needless to say a disappointing stay.

Room clean and tidy. Good outlook. A++ food and fantastic service. Will definitely stay again. 4 star service from a country pub.

A nice pace to rest your head, good food.arrowtown is an interesting place to walk around . The jug should have a longer cord as it was difficult to plug in due to the wardrobe having a plug at the back nr. Tv luckily my partner had long arms.perhaps something about hotel in room brochure would be nice. Thanks for a great stay.
