Mt Cook Salmon is the worlds highest salmon farm, 677m above sea leave. This farm was the first in the world to utilise a hydro electric canal to raise Pacific Salmon.
These salmon are raised in the pristine glacial waters from Mt Cook National Park. Eco sensitive farming, no Genetic modification, hormones, vaccines, antibiotics. Visitors can tour a production raft, feed the fish, and purchase fresh and smoked salmon from the on-site processing facility.
Car and bus park, toilets, covered eating area. Open 7 days weather permitting. Magnificent view of Mt Cook and Lake Pukaki.
