Our complex consists of 11 studio units, 8 with a single and double bed, 3 with two singles and a double bed.
We have plenty of storage area for bikes and the Twin Coast Cycle Trail entrance is only 400m away.

While the facilities are a little dated (which the new operators acknowledge and plan to address), the Mid North Motor Inn is more than adequate. It's very central, close to the Bay of Islands, Kaitaia, Opononi and Waipou Kauri Forests (with the room rental a lot less than those overpriced motels in Pahia). The room was clean and tidy with the beds made everyday and Michelle regularly provided ice for our evening whiskies (without prompting). Overall, happy to stay there.

stayed here on saturday just gone. facilities are adequate, beds are good, rooms are clean,spacious. The owner is very friendly and accommadating. the complex needs an up date over time as it is it's fine. only hiccup for us was the owner couldn't find our booking at first. which was booked thru travel bug, this has happened to us before at other motels. so we were given two smaller rooms then we had booked. by time he found our booking, we couln't be bothered moving rooms. we would recommend this motor inn.
