Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:This was weird. The decor was 19souless and the wifi was not .free-about $8.00 for 600 meg.cmon, this is 2015! ok,so i was thinking of driving home but it was late. I had the best sleep in years! but gee the decor made me lonely.

Mclean park motel met all my needs for a stopover in beautiful napier city. The motel room was very clean, comfortable and quiet - all that one can ask for really. .

Stayed in a room with renovated bathroom. Good shower. Bed comfortable. Room quite basic as is older style property. Very quiet in rooms down the back, close to city. Felt was ok for money as i paid $89 a night. Budget property - clean and tidy.

We stayed in the motel with our 2 kids between 26th - 29th dec. Though rooms were clean and the central location was a bonus for the price, we are very disappointed with our stay. After checking the room details on phone i booked unit 11, but on our arrival we were offered unit 14. The reason given was that people staying in 11 extended their stay, which i thought was bit odd. Anyways we accepted 14. This is the only unit attached to reception and separated by an internal wall and door. It was so noisy as the entrance alarm kept going all the time (especially on day1) and you can hear constant chatter. As we got used to this annoyance, on day2 we found that bathroom is the worst part with absolutely ridiculous shower on the bath tub. Very uncomfortable very old looking shower literally drizzled water very lightly. Also, this unit has toilet in the same room. Inaccessible mirror on above the toilet. Very old kitchen with some aging cutlery. Bedrooms and beds were fine except the noise.

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely room with king size bed, great location, close to city and ocean. Really liked the extra touch of make up remover and soft facial flannel. Nice tidy grounds and the citrus trees look great and tasted awesome too. Only negative was the bed was not made each day when the room was serviced. Would definitely consider staying again in future. .
