Welcome to Longview, our new Bed and Breakfast / Farmstay accommodation situated on 25 acres near the small township of Pleasant Point. Centrally located, (2hrs drive from Christchurch and 20 minutes from Timaru) this area offers the visitor a wide range of activities. Or if your time is limited, it is a great overnight stop enroute to Aoraki / Mt Cook (180km) and Queenstown.

From Longview, magnificent panoramic views of the mountains, including Mt Hutt and Mt Dobson Ski fields, can be seen. For the Fisherman the nearby Te Ngawai and Opihi rivers offer excellent trout and salmon fishing opportunities with easy access. Take a relaxing stroll through the olive grove, or wander amongst our friendly cattle with your hosts.

Relax in the cosy guest lounge, where we have a selection of books about New Zealand parks, tramps and walks. As keen trampers ourselves, we are happy to share our knowledge of tramping tracks in the South Island and also other places of interest to the overseas traveller.

We have warm rooms with two queen size bedrooms and one room with twin beds. The Mt Dobson and Four Peaks bedrooms both have wonderful mountain views, with direct access to the terrace and garden. A full breakfast is included in the tariff.
