Welcome to Lambourne Cottage Alpaca Farmstay. Lambourne Cottage is a self-contained, boutique accommodation in French provincial decor creating that lovely romantic setting. It is close to New Plymouth city and all amenities yet still rural and quiet.
Are you looking for that ideal wedding night retreat? Could you want to get away from the city for some peace and quiet and experience the Taranaki Region?
Lambourne Cottage is separate from the main house and is therefore private, peaceful, and relaxing - just what you need after a long and busy day sightseeing, visiting friends, or conducting business.
You will be able to relax and enjoy a drink outside your cottage and listen to native birds and watch the Alpacas feed right outside your window

* Pet friendly on request. Dogs, however, are required to be on leads because of stock but if well trained are more than welcome in the open paddocks where there is no stock.

Wonderful place to stay - Lloyd and Barb are incredibly welcoming and are great hosts. The cottage is delightful - tastefully decorated, really comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was very generous with lots of choice and farm fresh produce. Alpacas and other farm animals are just outside the window, yet the location is just a short drive away from New Plymouth - it's the best of both worlds. Highly recommended and my husband and I look forward to returning.

Absolutely the best
Our hosts are very friendly, helpful and caring. The accommodation is a separate unit, very modern and superbly functional.

Wonderful stay with lovely hosts
Lambourne Cottage is a wonderful spot to stay. It's very peaceful but only a 10 minute drive to the city centre, and the alpacas and other animals are a delight! Great cottage, great breakfast, and Lloyd and Barbie are very welcoming hosts. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

accommodation was great, weather atrocious
This was our third stay at Lambourne Cottage in 4 years and the welcome was as wonderful as usual. The cottage is lovely and the hosts delightful. Excellent value for money and well recommended .We will be returning again .

A super home away from home.
Great hospitality. A peaceful environment and perfect balance between being made welcome and given your space. Bed, bathroom and fit out are all super - breakfast resources were excellent We are already planning our next visit.
