All the separate, self contained, secluded cottages are situated near the lake and the shops. Nestled in a large garden with mature trees.. a rarity in Lake Tekapo. All have a rural outlook and degree of privacy not obtainable in a hotel or motels. The cottages are self-contained and sleep 2-8 people. Full linen supplied. The Eastwing and Rowan each have a wood burner, firewood and sundecks to relax on. If you are looking for older style high country accommodation, with modern amenities in the Mckenzie High Country, you have come to the right place. Unlimited Free WiFi in all cottages.
OUR HOLIDAY HOME:
Aorangi Holiday Home. This comfortably furnished and warm home offers four bedrooms, one king, on queen, and two twin bedrooms. A modern kitchen, open plan dinning and living area assures you of a comfortable stay. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower. It also offers a spacious balcony with lake views, spa,a sheltered BBQ area outside and safe off street parking.

Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:We stayed in perhaps the smallest cottage and it was ok, clean and everything worked. Smaller than i had expected with the table out on the veranda as it didn't fit easily inside with the furniture set up they had.

It's a good experience there. The boss is very nice, lent us his telescope and told us where to go. By the way, we broke one wine glass and got his pardon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a comfortable 4 bedroom house with a comfy lounge suite, good shower and sufficient heating with the logburner, heatpump and oil heaters. The spa got plenty of use and even when it rained (and snowed!) we were happy under cover. Great views and close access to the township. The only thing we suggest is more bedding for this time of year (woollen blankets etc). Aside from that we thank you for the pleasant stay and we (along with our friends) will be back, thank you.
