Donald & Pamela welcome you aboard Lake Taupo Fishing Charters new vessel the Mariri II for a relaxed and enjoyable time fishing on our picturesque end of Lake Taupo.

Donald has over 50 years (since he first held a rod at 5 years of age) of trout fishing experience around the Turangi area mainly on boats and enjoys passing his experience onto others be it your first time with a trout rod in your hand or someone with whom he can trade fishing stories from the past.

If you are not interested in fishing but would enjoy a relaxed cruise around the southern end of Lake Taupo we know all the beautiful spots and can visit secluded bays where the bush cascades down to the waters edge.

We believe in personal service and will do everything we can to make sure your trip with us is as enjoyable as possible.

As part of our belief in our service to you, we offer complimentary on board food which includes a range of teas, coffee's, milo, scones, cake, biscuits, a range of health bars (muesli etc) fruit which includes kiwi fruit, water melon, apples, (all when in season), and if we have your children on board we offer a kids breakfast if early morning such as a selection of cereals with fruit and milk. As a treat we always have something a little extra for them.
