Been coming to Kuaotuna now for 6 years love the relax way you rock up, key in door, no silly checking in!!! Girlie break this time and my UK friend was amazed, having never seen anything like it. Where else are in the bush, but with the crashing of waves and a view of the ocean. Will continue to come and recommend people. Don't change a thing. Peace perfect peace

Very satisfactory
As advertised it is a genuine Swiss chalet set in the bush so you need to be prepared for wild life stick insects for example. We enjoyed our stay. The visitors book is full of glowing reports from all over the world. The owner was surprised the isite booked us as he feels he is not on your radar.

Truly wonderful Swiss style chalet
My last night on New Zealand was spent in this remarkable chalet in the forest. The chalet exceeded our expectations, we had everything we needed on hand and we found it to be a wonderful location to explore the nearby beaches. A nighttime stroll to see the glow worms turned it into a magical experience. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We enjoyed 2 weeks of the peace and beauty of a chalet in the bush, with access to the beautiful beaches of the Mercury Bay area. The chalet was well equipped, and comfortable, and well serviced by the lovely Serena.

Great First Family Holiday
What an awesome place this was for our first family holiday. Was such a thrill to hear the kiwis calling at night on the glow worm walk. Such a nice quiet private setting with the beach just minutes away. Had such a great time we ended up extending our stay by a day.
