KAIMAI COUNTRY LODGE is a newly purpose built luxury Bed and Breakfast in the picturesque Bay of Plenty. Just 2 hours south of Auckland this is an ideal place to base youself to explore not only the Bay of Plenty but also we are at the gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula, and close to the city of Tauranga and Mt Maunganui. We are just over an hour from Rotorua. Our lodge is perched on a hill in the foothills of the Kaimai Ranges.

Every room in the lodge commands spectacular views. To the south there is Mount Maunganui, to the east Tauranga Harbour and Matakana Island, to the north look across rolling farm land toward Waihi and the Coromandal and behind us reach out and touch the magnificient Kaimai Ranges. There is so much to do here. take a bush walk through the Kaimai-Mamaku National Park. Swim at beautiful Waihi Beach or the sheltered and very pretty beach of Bowentown. Explore wineries, the Katikati Cuisine Trail. Wander along the banks of the Uretera Stream and enjoy the poems and sculptures of the Haiku pathway. Our lodge is quiet and peaceful and just 5 minutes from the bussling little town of Katikati, famous for it's 44 murals depicting the history from early Maori settlement and the early Irish families who made this their home.

There is so much to do including fishing (trout and sea) also we are close to several international standard golf courses with one just 7 mins away. Being keen travellers ourselves we have made every effort to ensure the comfort and well being of our guests so that they leave with many happy memories.
