The hotel is listed as a category one building on the Historic Places Trust Register, reflecting its status as a building of national significance.
Heritage Christchurch hotel services and facilities include WiFi internet access (charges apply), Reception open daily from 6.30am to 11.00pm, tour and leisure desk, complimentary daily newspaper (Monday to Friday), baby sitting service, dry cleaning, foreign currency exchange.

Very satisfied. Great to have a room with such a great view and it's own HUGE private balcony ( actually part of the roof of the Heritage :-) Way to high up to hear street or people noise, and off it's own dead end corridor so no annoying other guest noise. Probably the quietest night I've ever spent in an inner city hotel. Only downside ( and hardly a complaint ) was that the flat screen TV on the far wall was WAYYYYYYYY too small considering it was a Penthouse Suite. From bed, it had the appearance of a 14 inch though it was probably a 32" or something. All good, highly recommended :-) !!!

The service was fine staff were all very polite and welcoming, We were a litle dissapointed with the way the rooms are layed out ie: to watch T.V. you had to sit on the bed due to the ventilation shafts that run through the rooms and positioning of furniture If we were to stay there having to pay full price I honestly couldn't justify spending that amount of money for a night away
