Easily the best accommodation we had in our week of travelling the north island! our family of 4 were made to feel at home immediately. The entire guest space is very well appointed, clean and new. We were able to truly relax and our hosts provided the perfect mix of friendly welcome and respectful privacy. If you are staying anywhere in the Wairarapa, don't hesitate to make this your home base.

My husband and I enjoyed our couple of nights with Desiree and Peter. The accommodation is of generous size, private and has everything you could want to be a little self sufficient, while still staying in someone's home. There were lots of generous little touches, home preserves, afghans, chocolates by the bed. The peace and quiet, as well as the luxury of being 5 minutes drive from down town Greytown is hard to pass by.

Beautful home on a lovley little farm.
We had the whole upstairs to ourselves. We had expected to have the twin room but the owner said we could use the other room as well so we each had our own room. We were given all the provisions to make ourselves a nice breakfast in the morning before we left. The only thing we did not have was a wifi connection but it was not missed that much. It was cute to watch the new born calves. There were some sheep and new lambs being moved into the property but we had to miss that. There is a beautiful view of the mountains topped in snow. We could not believe the hospitality and the trustfulness of the owner. She told us to go to the house and where to find the key. To just go in and make ourselves at home. We did feel a bit strange about doing that so explored the area then went back in the early evening. I would recommend the Greytown Homestay

Wonderfully comfortable and well equipped apartement, with everything and more that we could need for our overnight stay. Very welcoming and helpful hostess, it would be difficult to improve on this lovely homestay.
