Global Village provides warm comfortable, unique Backpackers' accommodation to world travellers. We enjoy a beautiful riverside setting, just a two minute drive (or 10 minute walk) from the centre of town, and a two minute drive also to our rugged west coast beach (famous for spectacular sunsets and green stone hunting).
We offer free bicycles to explore town and beaches, free kayaks on Lake Karoro, and free fishing rod for fishing at river mouth, and free movies from massive selections.
Our facility also includes Spa, Sauna, Fitness room, BBQ, Boma campfire, free wireless internet, fully equipped kitchen, super-modern single sex bathrooms and central heating with fully made-up beds.
We, the owners and managers, at Global Village have over twenty years' experience in the world of backpacker hostels, and we are still serious travellers ourselves. We take great pride in being able to offer a quality hostel, and a warm and friendly environment for those discerning globetrotters who, like ourselves, enjoy meeting fellow travellers. Value for Money
The place was nice and neat. Cozy and neat. The kitchen area is filled with tea and coffee for refill. The bed was comfy. Room was nicely decorated. The service staff is great in handling all my enquirers with prompt reply through email.
