Just off the Hawke's Bay Expressway, Fern Motel is close to the Napier Airport, Park Island Sports Complex, the Onekawa Aquatic Centre, Pettigrew Arena Sports Stadium and both Church Road and Mission Estate Wineries. It's a great base to explore the Hawke's Bay Region.
Fern Motel is also perfect for commercial travellers as it is so close to the Onekawa business & industrial sector.
Fern Motel has 18 fully self-contained, well-appointed ground-floor units with natural surroundings. All units have ensuite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, heatpump/aircon, SKY TV and free wireless internet. We offer standard and deluxe units. Deluxe units are beautiful, having been completely refurbished with new kitchens and flat-screen TVs. We also have a brand new 2 Bedroom Unit with a beautiful large kitchen with dishwasher, big fridge/freezer and large ceramic hob. Bedroom 1 has a queen and bedroom 2 has 3 singles.
Both bedrooms and the lounge have flatscreen tv's. The lounge is stylishly decorated and has a sofabed and a nice dining area.
All units at Fern Motel have their own private courtyard where you can sit outside or entertain in the BBQ area enjoying the best of sunny Hawke's Bay. You can watch the kids swim in the large pool and play in the fenced children's playground area.
PET POLICY
Fern Motel is pet-friendly for pets that sleep on their own bed, are house-trained and if you clean up after them). Feel free to exercise your pet in the large grass area beside the pool and the large parks & walkways nearby. There is a one-off extra cleaning charge of $15/unit.

A LOVELY ROOM AT A GREAT PRICE. WE WERE SO CENTRAL TO TOWN WITHOUT THE TRAFFIC NOISE. WE WILL BE BACK.

Stayed in a refurbished room. Nice modern presentation, and quiet thanks to double glazing on road side windows. Comfortable bed. Good TV and good value for money. However small unit very tight with both a queen and single bed, (single bed should go where not required) and bathroom poorly lit. Yes I would stay again. 7/10.
