Egmont Villa Farmstay is situated on a working farm.
During your stay you would be most welcome to spend time around the farm, which has some very quiet hand reared hinds,any orphan lambs or calves which need rearing during the Springtime and the chickens which provide our eggs for the substantial breakfast provided in the tariff.
We also farm cows with calves at foot, sheep which are also quiet, due to a number of hand reared ewes in the flock, and some mohair goats.
We encourage our guests to interact with any or all our stock.

Awesome ! Was like staying with family
Really lovely stay. Leslie made us feel right at home and took our little son on a tractor ride to feed all the animals. It made his year :-)

Lesley and Graham made us feel so welcome. We stayed in the caravan for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect. We didn't have to rush anywhere and Lesley was very accomodating about the breakfast (which were fantatsic) and the times we wanted it - we ended up sleeping in one morning and there was no problem with us having a very late breakfast - your poached eggs were just perfect Lesley! The caravan was spotless and had every conienience that you could need - was like a hotel suite but with the most wonderful views and complete privacy - apart from the sheep! We were allowed to wander around the farm in amongst the livestock as much as we wanted without being watched over which was wonderful. We had a really relaxing time and even came home with a great big bag of limes that Lesley gave us. We will be back with our daughters next time as they will love Lucy and all the farm animals...especially the lambs. Well worth a stay, cannot recommend highly enough.
