Delightful modern Bed and Breakfast situated on the Te Horo Beachfront. One hour from Wellington or Palmerston North and easily accessible to cafes, shops and tourist attractions of the Kapiti Coast.
Driftwood Bed and Breakfast offers you quiet and relaxing accommodation with the attraction of being right on the beach. Guest rooms offer are either a king double room with ensuite and dressing room, tea and coffee facilities, TV/video/DVD,central heating and balcony. The other option is a twin room with king single beds, tea and coffee, separate bathroom, TV, etc.
The full breakfast is our specialty, plus welcome drinks on arrival. We also have two old and friendly cats - no extra charge!
Your Hosts:
Murray and Barbara Scott have been living on the Kapiti Coast area for many years, finally moving to and building at Te Horo Beach in 1997. Murray and Barbara have had wide experience in hospitality and caring for people. They have travelled widely and enjoy hosting guests from around the world at their Te Horo beachfront home. They are happy to share their extensive knowledge of both the local Kapiti Coast area and the wider New Zealand scene.

We spent only one night at Driftwood B&B and wouldn't mind staying another couple of nights there. Barbara is a very warm and welcoming host. The house is beautiful, full views of the beach from the living areas, beds are really comfortable and everything is very clean. Good freshly prepared breakfast... and even a glass of good wine in the evening.

My partner and I stayed at the Driftwood bed and breakfast in early Feb 2012 and had a lovely stay. The property is set back from the beach so had gorgeous views and the sea room is big and cosy, with all amenities you could want and barbara being the hostest with the mostest. Great two day to start our holiday in NZ.

Hospitable hosts and excellent property in very good location.
Upgraded to the better room. Very nice people run it. Better than we expected. Only fault was lighting over bathroom mirror - none.
