Feedback

Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:

It has been horrible experience as after travelling long distance in hot weather when we wanted to rest but to our dismay we found air conditioner of our both the rooms were not working. We had to live without any comfort despite our complain to staff. Even the shower in bathrooms were working like light drizzle. Very disappointed with their overall services.

Front of house staff fairly offhand and not efficient. Wait staff and bar staff helpful and courteous. Very noisy, maintenance not kept up with many fittings and furnishings worn/damaged or missing like the door internal safety lock. Still charge for wifi when almost all their competitors along fenton st offer free! $3 for 1 hour!.

Found through travel bug. Booked and paid. When i arrive at the hotel i was told "sorry but there are no room". It was long and hard fight at counter about whose fault it was. When the refund will be made etc. Then somehow they found us a room. Room was hot but could not open window because flying bugs. No airconditioning. It was 10pm by the time we settle into the room. Slept in uncomfy lagging bed then check out 10am. Do not recommend. Sore back after this night.

Very helpful staff, so much for the free wifi in rooms though, it was very slow indeed, this was because of the hundreds of tourists in reception all logging on to there ipads and phones etc. Water damage to the room, we was the very last room on top floor ( think this was reserved for the treat me deal ).
