Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:

My wife and i had a wonderful weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and welcome. Great restaurant, and the massage was divine. All the team were friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Overall this resort was 'nice' but i don't think that we would stay there again in the future. It just wasn't really my style of accommodation. The room that we stayed in was good, but there was nothing particularly special about it. It was on the ground floor, and although quiet, we did get a view of people walking past our room in the afternoon. For a restaurant that has such a great rating, i was surprised at how old fashioned it felt. The music was depressing and it was awkwardly quiet in the morning when we had breakfast. The pool was smaller than it appears in the website's photos, and the hot tubs were not private at all. Also after dark, there was no way you would have wanted to use the hot tubs (which is what i was planning on doing) because it was super dark and scary. But if you turned the lights on, it would attract a million 'trout files'. The staff were friendly, and if you like small and very quiet accommodation, then this would be a good place to check out.

We stayed at the Wai Ora Lakeside Spa resort in April what a find! We immersed ourselves in the 'spa experience' with treatments which were wonderful & to top off a perfect day a meal in the Mokoia Restaurant was outstanding. The superior suite was great, comfy beds lovely spacious bathroom, we will certainly be back again & would absolutely recommend to all. Thank you :-)
