Bush Sand and Sea at Bethells Beach is a one bed roomed, self contained and elegant accommodation nestled in New Zealand's native bush of the Waitakere Ranges of Auckland's Wild West Coast.

There is a king size bed in the main bedroom, a double bed settee in the lounge and is fully air-conditioned and heated. This unit is not designed to accommodate children or pets. It has a full kitchen, well equipped and supplied to be independent, with a barbeque on one of the decks and a spa available on site.

We offer a full Bed and Breakfast service and airport pick-up (if required). Rates are $210 per night peak ($185 off peak), check our site for special offers.

Breakfast is supplied in the fridge, (as well as some home baked treats), ready for you to ?cook your own, when you are ready, and not before'. By arrangement, and an extra $10 fee per person, we will cook and bring to you in the Unit.
The owners are on call to spoil you, yet separate to ensure complete privacy in a pristine setting.

Enjoy the peace, tranquility and seclusion of this environmentally-conscious retreat which is located within the privacy of 10 acres of paradise. Explore the bush walk with its bridges, board walk and stream. Enjoy our late departure policy after visiting the glow worms in the evening.

Whether you are escaping the city for the weekend, looking to recharge your batteries or looking for a beautiful pause in your trip through Aotearoa (New Zealand), we look forward to welcoming you.
