Burn Cottage Retreat has been purpose built for couples and offers three boutique self contained cottages. Privately secluded amidst a walnut grove and spectacular woodland, tussock and hosta gardens. Peace and quiet reign supreme - you will be amazed how well you sleep!
Rascal, Moonlight and Celebration are modern, secluded, self-contained one bedroom cottages with calm restful decor and extra touches to make your stay special. Centrally located 3km from Cromwell, 2km from the shores of Lake Dunstan and right in the heart of the Central Otago vineyard and orchard region - the perfect destination to enjoy your winery purchases!Queenstown, Wanaka and Arrowtown are all within easy reach.
Complimentary items include guest laundry, mountain bikes and helmets, plus a bowl of organic walnuts from our walnut grove in your cottage on arrival. A generous continental breakfast hamper and cheeseboard platters are also available (extra cost and a wee bit of notice required. Free WiFi is available. A Nespresso machine supplied for your enjoyment with limited number of free capsules so feel free to bring your own.
Our fully self contained cottages are private with sunny deck areas, gas barbecues and covered carports. Relax by the cosy gas fire, watch TV or a DVD from our DVD library, or read our books and magazines. Savour beautiful en suite bathrooms with great shower pressure, complimentary toiletries, hairdryers and heated towel rails. The kitchen has a 4 element cook top, microwave and fridge freezer but no oven.
We also have a small mob of coloured pet sheep, with lambs born each October.
We recommend at least a two night stay so you can really enjoy the cottages and everything this fantastic Central Otago region has to offer. Discounts will apply to 3 night minimum stays.

Terrific Stay

The best holiday spot ever
A wonderful holiday ~ beautiful location, lovely hosts & the most comfortable bed ever! My husband even learnt to ride a bike while we were there! Bonus. My advice, stay as long as you can and savour the experience
