Whether you bring your own car or use a rental, parking is available on site adjacent to the Cottage. Should you wish to go to Auckland, for a day or in the evening, we have free reserved parking for guests at Matiatia to ensure you don't get caught out by the shortage of public parking there.

We had an amazing weekend at Booklovers Cottage. It was well appointed to a high standard with everything you could possibly need. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and we appreciated being left to our own accord. Would definitely visit again as it was situated within a few minutes of some amazing eateries and beaches.

Lovely secluded cottage with thoughtful personal touches
We really enjoyed our stay here, the cottage is very comfortable, easily accommodating 2 couples. It's a beautiful setting and we would highly recommend it.

Overall a lovely house and location with comfortable beds and linen. Would have been higher rating if there was a more comfortable lounge suit to sit on and if the dishwasher was working properly.
