Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:

Lovely place to stay amongst the bush with its private beach. Very private with great views and comfy surrounds. Fantastic base for exploring the Kaipara harbour and its history. Only one bedroom though so in future may have been more suitable for one family rather than two couples and a baby! Despite it being tight we loved our stay and will definately stay again when we can.

This was great value for money, it exceeded my expectations. Lots of room in the cottages, really peaceful and quiet. A well equipped kitchen, you could easily stay here for weeks and it would be as good as home!Very comfortable bed, great views and gorgeous gardens, definitely worth a stop to break the long drive.

Firstly let me say the view was fantastic. Unfortunately for us we were a group tof four wo of whom have mobility difficulties, and while we were offered both cottages,so one pair were not required to sleep on a couch , the access was too difficult for my husband to negotiate,so we didn't stay and moved on to find other accomodation. will know in future to check access more carefully.

Peace, quiet, escape and relaxation are guaranteed in the delightful cottage hidden well away from civilisation. Clean and well supplied with all you need, incl books, games. The bed was the most comfortable weve slept in when away from home. Can recommend exploring the local coastline in the kayaks. A perfect location when youre wanting to retreat; well be back.
