Location
Queenstown is nestled on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, Central Otago, in the South Island of New Zealand. It is an alpine region and so offers stunning views of the Southern Alps and Remarkables mountain ranges. Queenstown is a major tourist destination in New Zealand and has a reputation as the ?Adventure Capital of the World?.

Avant Garde Luxury Bed and Breakfast is located on the shore of Lake Wakatipu in Kelvin Heights. We are a seven minute drive to the airport and 15 minute drive to the centre of Queenstown. We provide a drop off / pick up service to the airport.

Four popular ski fields are within an hour's drive from our home with the Remarkable and Coronet ski fields a mere 30 minute drive.

There are five golf courses within a 30 minute drive and the picturesque Queenstown Golf Club is a five minute drive from our home.

The many kilometres of the Wakatipu Cycle Trail run past our home on the shore of Lake Wakatipu.

Rooms
Our new, architecturally designed home was completed in May 2011. It has been designed specifically to accommodate a Bed and Breakfast / Homestay. We have two rooms available for Bed and Breakfast. Both rooms are within our home but the Skyline Room, (maximum two guests) has a private external access and ensuite facility whereas the Lakeview Room (maximum four guests) is accessible via stairs and has separate toilet, shower and bathroom.

Food and Beverage
We offer complementary refreshments on arrival. There is a choice of a cooked/continental breakfast daily. With advanced notice we offer a gourmet evening meal with matching wine (cost is additional to tariff)
