Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:

Super facility and warm welcoming environment. Staff great and very accommodating. We arrived on a cold afternoon, the fire was going, the room was really warm and relaxing. The meals (dinner and breakfast) was excellent and have to experienced to be appreciated fully. I will go back again without question.

We enjoyed our stay, the location was beautiful it was just a shame the weather wasn't playing ball to be able to fully enjoy it. The rooms are very nice with recently renovated bathrooms. Dinner felt a little from the 80's but was still nice, perhaps portion sizes were fractionally small as really only 5 courses as sorbet is a palet cleanser not a course. Just a shame not a few more occupants and the lounge fire and bar could have been a bit more active, but staff were all very attentive and helpful. Was a wonderful place and will definitely come visit again staying at least 2 nights next time!.

My husband and i stayed in a deluxe room for our first wedding anniversary and really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the surroundings were lovely and relaxing. We ate at the restaurant both nights we were there and for dessert on our anniversary there was lovely 'happy anniversary' written in chocolate on our plates. It was great to see the chef out talking to all of the guests after the later meal too. One thing not to count on is that the menu in the in-room booklet is the same as in the restaurant! it would have been great on arrival if someone had mentioned breakfast times as we hadn't been and missed it by 10mins. But we only had to wait 30mins to eat from the brunch menu so we definitely didn't go hungry! we really did enjoy our stay and would recommend to friends. Thank you.

Waitakere estate was a lovely place to stay.staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was delicious. The chef talking to all thr tables was a very welcome suprise. I was there for my partners birthday and the staff sang happy birthday to him when desert was brought out which was very sweet. The hand written welcome note/card was a lovely touch in the room. We would definitely recommend waitakere estate to anyone and hope to come back again at some point. Thank you.
