Feedback

Following is feedback posted by visitors to this property:

I booked a king room and found it to be perfect for my needs! it's near a lot of shopping and eateries, and public transport is only a block away. The only 'complaint' i have is that the water pressure in the shower and toilet wasn't as strong as i was used to. Overall, i would definitely stay again next time i'm in auckland!.

I booked a queen room to stay in last night. The picture i based my booking off was nothing like the room we were given. The picture advertised for the queen room (or any room to be honest) looked spacious, clean, and modern. We were given a shoebox sized room where opening the bathroom door or the shower door would hit the toilet, or opening the front door would hit the bed. Half the room was brick and the ceiling was pop out tiles, it just seemed incredibly cheap. If i paid half the price i did, i really wouldn't have minded. Another disappointment was you could hear everything from the lifts opening, people talking in the hallway/in their rooms and drunk people yelling a street away. It really didn't feel like you had much privacy at all.

Good for the money and was nice to be at top end of queen away from crazy inner city yet still just a walk away. Will stay there again .

The room wasn't what we expected, as soon as we walked in there was the bed. The room was so small we could hardly move around. The shower clogged up as soon as it was turned on and water overflowed onto the floor. We told reception about it on the second day of our arrival and they said they would fix it but they didn't. The towels smelt stale like they hadn't been washed or dried properly. Not nice at all. On a positive note the staff were friendly enough and it's close to central auckland. Wouldn't stay there again though.

This was my second stay, and overall not a bad experience. The room was well set out, comfortable and clean. The one downside of this place is the food and the restaurant. Not a great place to eat and no room service offered for late check-ins. I arrived at 9pm and could not get a meal, even though it said the restaurant was open till 10pm. Also, there was a constant, low pitched humming sound which went on all night and disturbed my sleep. Seemed to be the air conditioning or something. Second thoughts about a further stay, although great price and central location can override the need for other comforts.
