we had a good night at the Ascot,the new David Harrington Wing is well done and it's good to see the installation of Daiken heat pumps and this particular night we needed to use the airconditioning otherwise the heat in the room would have been quite uncomfortable (this was from an unusualy warm day in Invercargill)A second card would be ideal so if one person goes out the other person still has lights. We have stayed here a couple of times and the room we had was of a better standard by having the heat pump.Service was good and friendly and I don't think you can expect anything less from an ILT run business. The room rate through travel bug was a great bargain

Fantastic room. Excellent staff. Food was amazing. Was very impressed with the staff and the way they all went out of their way to be very helpfull. Room service was very fast. Thank-you for a lovely stay with you.
