A fabulous place to stay, fantastic location, great views, smallish but modern, clean rooms, the upstairs communal area is spacious and has the best views. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

At first I thought mount cook's accomodation is expansive but after visiting other places in the south island I found the price charged is quite reasonable.

Exactly what we wanted. A well presented, clean, quiet accommodation with awesome views of Mt Cook. Very welcoming host. We were allocated a downstairs room with a queen size bed even though we had requested twin beds. The host didn't hesitate to upgrade us to a suitable room upstairs. I can highly recommend this lodge as well as The Old Mountaineers Restaurant across the road. Great atmosphere and food.
