Excellent day out, well organised and well led by guides
Guides were excellent, easy to chat to and very knowledgable about the area.

An incredible experience
This was quite possibly the best tour I've ever done, and the guides went above and beyond to make sure that the experience was both safe for all involved, and incredibly unique. They offered us different routes depending on fitness, and interests, and have is the opportunity to see areas and take routes not often traveled in winter. There were even times where the guides made their own paths to better accommodate everyone's fitness, and to let us see different areas of the Tongariro mountains. In all, an incredibly rewarding experience.

Excellent guided trek
Hi team I thoroughly enjoyed my winter mountain day on the Tongariro alpine walk on Tuesday July 4th, despite poor weather conditions and low visibility. I felt that we were carefully looked after throughout the day and it made me feel very safe on the mountain top despite strong winds and icy rain and sleet and an inability to see where we were going at times. I thought that Justin's leadership was superb and was as good as the best Scottish guides I have used in the past for winter walking; his scouting ahead and lesson on crampon fitting and teamwork with the other very capable leaders. The additional information he provided about the plants and geology as we were walking added to the experience. I was picked up on time from Taupo and arrived back a bit earlier than planned owing to the fact that we didn't wait around on the mountain and moved on quickly due to weather conditions. In summary, a great experience and I'd love to come back one summer to repeat it. Nick Fletcher. Age 62. UK.

It was amazing!
I really enjoyed the tour. The nature was amazing and we were very lucky with the weather. The tour guide was great, too! He gave a lot of background information and made sure that everybody is safe, feels comfortable and is really enjoying the trip.

Great experience with nice guides
The guides are very nice and friendly. They never forced us to walk very fast and gave us a break from time to time. They encouraged us when we feel tired and gave useful advices when we walked through rugged road.
