252 Beachside is at the northern end of Hokitika, 1 minute from the beach and 3 minutes from the Glow Worm Dell.
Family and Group units that sleep 6, Studio units sleep 2 or 3 and stand alone Cottages that sleep 4. There are cooking facilities in all units.
We have a private spa pool on site, and in-ground swimming pool (seasonal)50MB free wireless internet separate Internet booth and children's play area.
Also within the complex is a Motorhome Park which has 11 power sites and 3 standard cabins. There is a Dump Station, Full catering facilities, Laundry, Showers Toilets Sky TV and a large drying room.
We are part of the Host Accommodation 12th night FREE group with motels scattered throughout New Zealand.

Fantastic!
Realized we didn't have a room booked, so we booked online last minute and they were able to accommodate us. Although the decor is old, the room (we ended up with a 2-bedroom apartment, so the rooms) were VERY clean. The manager was fabulous, very helpful. We enjoyed the town, too. This motel is 1/2 block from the beach and 1/2 block from the glow worm dell, which we really enjoyed both.

What an awesome place. On arrival, brian was very welcoming and informed me of attractions in town ans eating places nearby. The family unit was spacious and clean. It was also close to the beach which after a long drive was refreshing. When next i am in the area i will definately go back and will recommend it to my family and friends. .

Great place to stay, nice and basic with really nice hosts. We arrived after dark, and adele showed us to our room where the heater was already on so very inviting. She alos recomended a couple of places to eat (try the indian, very nice!) and where the glowworms were whicg our girls enjoyed. Will come back and stay in hokitika again, and it will be at 252. Tahnk you.

Lovely setting and very easy to find
We were only sorry that we had booked for one night only. Would have liked to have stayed longer. The setting was absolutely glorious. We were told everything we needed to know and everyone was so helpful.
