All our rooms are completely separate from each other so you'll never hear other guests. Each room comes with only the highest quality linen and imported Japanese Down Duvets for the colder months.

The lounge is open to use at any time, large and spacious featuring an open fire and a luxuriously appointed Japanese electric massage chair.
The Kitchen/Dining area supplies complimentary tea and coffee 24 hours a day, with a selection of special treats on arrival.

We are just 3km south of the city centre, located high on one the largest hills in New Plymouth.
Our North East aspect gives us shelter from the predominant southerly winds and views over the city, the ocean and of course our beloved mountain.
Our quiet Cul-de-sac is just a couple of minutes walk from local shops and bus stops, with a reserve behind us it a picture of natural New Zealand beauty.
Native trees in both the front and backyards ensure the native birds are constantly feeding and the bird songs are as relaxing as our home.
The harbour is at the foot of our hill, a 1km walk down one rather steep street!
In the harbour area are protected swimming beaches and a couple of very nice restaurant/cafes overlooking the glorious harbour setting, our favourites being Gusto Restaurant and the Bach On Breakwater.
From the harbour starts the famous New Plymouth Coastal Walkway.
Enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat then stroll the Coastal Walkway into the city centre, it is just one of New Plymouth's "must do" experiences and has to be experienced to really understand the pleasure it brings.
