Rakaia Villas at Terrace Downs® offer a selection of premium Terrace villas located on the 18th fairway of the Terrace Downs® Golf Course.
Rakaia Villas offer skiers and golfers a choice of 2/3 bedroom deluxe villa accommodation. All our villas are provide unobstructed views of the back nine holes of the golf course and Mt Hutt and Southern Alps.
Mt Hutt ski field offers some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the Southern Hemisphere over 472 hectares of diverse terrain for skiers and snowboarders.
Each villa available has been designed to complement the high country landscape located in this special part of Canterbury, New Zealand. The accommodation offers an open plan lounge and dining area, gas fire, fully equipped kitchen and private balcony or patio. The scintillating views are over the manicured golf course and up toward Mt Hutt and the Southern Alps.
Villas include luxurious California king-split beds, feather bedding and a raised double spa bath in the main en-suite bathroom. Large screen TV, DVD player, CD stereo system, wireless internet connectivity, undercover car parking/garage, full kitchen (including dish washer) and laundry facilities.

Lovely once we got into the apartment.
When we arrived the lock was not functioning properly so could not access the key or gain entrance to the unit. The contact number went to an answer phone and the response did not come for almost 2 hours. Unacceptable and needs to be fixed with a mobile phone. Guests should not have to stand out in the cold with no access to the unit. Alternatively leave a spare key with Terrace Downs Lodge. These apartments are too far from anywhere not to have 24/7 service available if something goes wrong. Once into the apartment it was lovely. One addition to the kitchen would be a coffee plunger and decent coffee.

Excellent accomodation,well appointed and comfortable
We did not receive entry instructions to the property by e-mail as promised after we had confirmed our booking on the internet. This caused us some anxiety as we could not reach the manager/owner by cell phone on the day until we were outside the apartment on Friday afternoon at 3pm. Once inside the apartment it was everything we required and more!
