Each of the cottages at Trails End has kitchenette, ensuite bathroom, open plan lounge - sleeping area (queen bed and king single). The décor theme is fresh and contemporary. Cabins have TV, complimentary tea, coffee & milk and freestanding heaters. Guests are welcome to enjoy relaxing or star-gazing in Jen and Stacey's outdoor spa pool. Tariff includes a continental breakfast.

The courtesy vehicle is available for dining at local establishments. Food for self catering by prior arrangement with barbecue facilities available.

Experience the 150kms Otago Central Rail Trail on foot, by bicycle or horseback. Just off the Rail Trail on the outskirts of Middlemarch, Trails End offers the perfect starting or end point for your journey.
The area is a trout fisherman's paradise with a diverse range of fishing available for a wide range of skill levels.
Other local attractions include;
Gold Mine Tours - Macraes Mine near Middlemarch is NZ's largest active goldmine
Sutton Salt Lake - NZ's only inland saltwater lake
Taieri Gorge Train - a rail journey through the rugged and spectacular Taieri River Gorge to / from Dunedin.

Your hosts, Stacey & Jen come from a rural background and their love of horses is evident with the surrounding paddocks being home to a number of their four legged friends. Having worked in the tourism industry in the area Jen is on hand for any queries you may have regarding the rail trail. Stacey is also able to help with local information especially the workings of the local gold mine at Macraes Flat where he is a Digger Operator.
