| Some suggested island activities include joining a Stewart Island Bus Tour which will show you around the island, encompassing local history, the opportunity to see wildlife and viewing of scenery and beaches. Take a trip on a fishing charter and catch yourself a 'Blue Cod', play a round of golf or visit the local museum. There are evening Kiwi Spotting excursions, scenic helicopter flights, mountain bikes & scooters for hire. Take a walk/tramp on one of the many tracks available on the island or take a guided tour of Ulva Island (Open Native Bird Sanctuary). |  |
